The Ports de la Generalitat website was created in order to provide universal access, regardless of any technical, physical, sensory or intellectual restraints of the people who use it and the context in which they do so (device type, software, connection speed, environmental conditions, etc.).

Therefore, the aim is to adapt the entire website to the recommendations of the World Wide Web Consortium – W3C to remove barriers hampering access to information and communication, and to follow the guidelines and heuristics of usability and user-centred design.
