The port of Roses is located in one of the world’s most stunning bays, surrounded by two amazing nature parks. It lies in the northern Costa Brava, around 30km from France, 65km from Girona and 160km from Barcelona.
Roses is an emerging cruise ship port within the bay and this new destination can welcome any type of cruise liner.
The port of Roses, along with the port of Palamós, is promoted in the international cruise industry under the brand of “Costa Brava Cruise Ports”.
Costa Brava Cruise Ports is a group of public-sector entities which was formally constituted in February 2012 through a partnership agreement. The agreement, signed by Ports de la Generalitat, the Costa Brava Tourism Board, the town councils of Palamós and Roses, and the Chambers of Commerce of Girona and Palamós, sets out to develop and carry out promotional activities to boost the presence and growth of the Costa Brava ports, Palamós and Roses, within the Mediterranean cruise industry.
The institutions that make up Costa Brava Cruise Ports are organising the MedCruise General Assembly for the first time from 24 to 27 May 2022. The international cruise industry will be hosted at this event by the ports of Palamós and Roses and the Costa Brava destination.
